RISE UP is excited to bring its Travelling Exhibition to Vienna, Austria! The exhibition was hosted at the Austrian Academy of Science, as part of the conference “Aromanian on the Path to a Literary and Standard Language” – thanks for having us!

About the exhibition: RISE UP commissioned an artist from each of its 5 selected minority/minoritised language communities to create an artwork that communicates a unique message, an image, or a feeling to the viewer. Our five artists were asked the questions: What would you say to your community? What would you like to say to people from outside of your community? Alongside the artwork will be informative panels about each language, where we can come together to learn about each other’s cultures, languages and lived realities.
